CHAPEL OF
ST. IGNATIUS

Almost 30 years after Elizabeth’s parents were married in the main church at Holy Trinity, Elizabeth and Neil will be married at Holy Trinity’s Chapel of St. Ignatius. The chapel is where Elizabeth and Neil attended one of their first Masses together as a couple, and they are so excited to celebrate the start of marriage there with family and friends October 19.

Completed in 1794, the chapel served as the original church site for Holy Trinity until increased congregation size required construction of the larger main church in 1829. This year, Holy Trinity celebrates its 225th anniversary of parish life.

DACOR BACON HOUSE

In its days as a private residence, the DACOR Bacon House was the site of a wedding attended by President and Mrs. Lincoln. Today, this historic mansion serves as the headquarters of the Diplomatic and Consular Officers, Retired (DACOR) Bacon House Foundation. DACOR Bacon hosts weekday lecture series, discussion groups, and musical performances for both active and retired foreign service professionals. The house itself doubles as a museum, containing art and artifacts from US diplomatic history.

Elizabeth and Neil look forward to joining family and friends at the DACOR Bacon House for cocktails, dinner, and dancing!
